SPRING CLASSES AT CTC
As part of our mission to educate and inspire, we frequently hold classes for both children and adults to learn acting, creative drama, dance, and more.
Class cancellation policy: All classes need four registered students to proceed.
Weather cancellation: We try not to cancel classes for weather or other incidents unless absolutely necessary. If we find the need to cancel a session, we will notify you by email before 1:00PM on the day of the class session. If you do not hear from us, the class will go as scheduled. As we will notify everyone by email, please make sure we have the email at which you would like to receive this notification.
Posted prices are for all seven weeks of class.

Through games and creative play, we'll build a play together by adding characters, places, plots, problems, and resolutions to create a story we will act out using our bodies, voices, and imaginations.
Tuesdays, 4:30PM-5:30PM, April 1-May 13

Using the rehearsal process and scenes from written plays, students will learn the skills to make their words and actions express the thoughts and feelings of the characters to an audience.
Ages 8 – 9 years

Tennessee Williams was one America’s greatest playwrights. Though best known for his full length plays, he also wrote many wonderful short plays. This class will explore, rehearse, and perform plays from his canon of short works.

Spring Dance Classes Offered
Dance classes are taught by Lindsay Fussell, choreographer of many Chattanooga Theatre Centre productions, including (but not limited to) “La Cage Aux Folles,” “The Music Man,” “Mary Poppins,” “Something Rotten, The Musical!” and most recently “Peter Pan, the Musical” in addition to her many off-site credits.

If you’ve every wanted to tap your troubles away, but didn’t know how, this beginning level tap dance class is for you! Tap shoes required.

Wednesdays, 6:20PM-7:20PM, April 2-May 14
Class consists of more advanced tap skills, including, but not limited to time steps, maxie fords, wings and pull backs tap shoes required.

Learn the basics of the different dance styles used in Broadway musicals.
